Feasibility studies
We have undertaken feasibility studies for a diverse range of proposed visitor attractions throughout New Zealand, including those of a cultural, historical, ecological, and thermal nature. We adopt our internationally proven methodologies to ensure clients receive robust analysis to enable them and their stakeholders to make informed investment decisions. We will tailor our scope of work to meet our client's specific requirements but key steps will often include: critical analysis of the proposed visitor experience including assessment of key competitors, primary market research (if appropriate), secondary market research amongst key industry informants, analysis of recent international and domestic visitor trends, projections of achievable penetration rates to derive visitor number projections for the attraction, projections of achievable admission fees (allowing for industry commissions), overall operating projections to enable return on investment analysis.
-
Due diligence
We have assisted a number of clients in evaluating investment opportunities in visitor attractions throughout the country. We draw on our broad tourism industry knowledge and financial expertise to ensure investors are fully aware of the strengths, weaknesses and key risks associated with their investment opportunities.
